Co-operative Cup second round stories.


Pat McAllister's Donegal Celtic side face Armagh Ballinamallard United progressed on the away goals rule at the cost of Ards in the second round of the Co-operative Insurance Cup on Tues. night. Ards won 1-0 at Ballinamallard but the tie finished 2-2 on total. Larne won 3-0 at home to Banbridge City to seal an 8-0 total victory while Limavady beat Carrick Rangers 6-2 to secure a 7-2 total success. Donegal Celtic play Armagh Town in the final 2nd round match on Wednesday night, with the draw on Thursday. The 3rd round sees the Irish Premiership clubs come into the competition.
